Tinubu Praises Wike for Abuja Infrastructure Development

President Bola Tinubu commended Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his impressive performance in infrastructure development across Abuja. This praise occurred during the inauguration of the Emmanuel Okanla Boulevard Road project in Katampe District on a Friday.

Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, expressed confidence in Wike's ability to oversee the administration of the nation's capital, citing his track record. Wike detailed the project's significance in addressing transport network gaps and attracting investments, stating that construction activity is evident throughout Abuja.

He noted the completion of various projects, including a recent road linking Tungan Madaki community, which has enhanced access to government services. Wike also announced the upcoming inauguration of a water supply scheme in Karu aimed at improving access to potable water.

The project consists of a 3.9-kilometer road network equipped with drainage facilities, sewer pipelines, and solar-powered street lights, contributing to the overall development and security of the area.
