Omije Ojumi's family has refuted claims of soliciting burial funds for the late gospel singer. Femi Eretan, the singer's brother-in-law, addressed guests during a service held on Wednesday, condemning a viral video by a self-proclaimed prophet alleging that the family publicly sought funds for the burial.

Eretan firmly denied the allegations and warned of legal action if no proof is provided to substantiate the claims. The family clarified that there was no internal conflict and they remain united and calm.

Initially, the family had planned to manage the burial independently due to health and emotional strains but later changed the decision following discussions. Eretan expressed gratitude to those who attended the service and honored Omije Ojumi.
