In a video shared on her social media, she dismissed the troll's suggestion that Atere lacked “a life of his own.” Veekee stated that marriage involves sharing life together, asserting that her life is intertwined with her husband's.

She remarked, “Yes, my husband does not have a life of his own. His life is my life, the same way I don’t have a life of my own.” Veekee argued that critics do not understand the essence of marriage, which she believes means both partners sharing every aspect of their lives.

She declared that they would continue to attend events together despite public criticism, stating, “You will see us everywhere possible.” She humorously referred to Atere as her “personal handbag” while showcasing clips of their time together.
