TeXcellence 5.0 in Lagos to Tackle Africa's Digital Growth
TeXcellence 5.0 is scheduled for 13 October 2026 at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos. This year's theme, "And there is a story behind it," builds on previous discussions from TeXcellence 3.0 and 4.0, which focused on future technologies and readiness for digital advancements in Africa.
The event aims to address how to accelerate progress in Africa's digital landscape, highlighting issues such as the efficiency of cross-border money transfers, the practical applications of AI for businesses, and the need for secure online systems amidst rising digital fraud. Additionally, it will explore the impact of technology on African entertainment, including the global reach of Afrobeats and Nollywood, while emphasizing that viral success does not equate to financial stability for creators.
