Youth Groups Praise Tinubu for NCDC and Development Plan

Youth groups in Nigeria have expressed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's establishment of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) and its accompanying 20-year development plan. This commendation occurred during a stakeholders’ engagement organized by the NCDC in Abuja.

Jethro Annum, President of the Nigerian Youth Congress, and Ambassador Abdullahi Muhammed Ishaq, NYCN State Chairman of Niger State, articulated that the NCDC serves as a catalyst for development and aligns with President Tinubu's broader vision for national development. Additionally, the Empowerment for Unemployed Youth Initiative (EUYI), represented by National Coordinator Danesi Momoh, and the North Central Youth Mobilisation & Sensitisation (NOCYMS), led by Hon. Iorwuese Ayo Fidelis, praised the NCDC for facilitating a significant engagement aimed at creating a sustainable development direction for the region.

The youth leaders emphasized the importance of including young people in discussions about the region's future.
