Zichi Agro-Alli Industries to Boost Animal Feed Capacity

Zichi Agro-Alli Industries PLC is set to enhance its animal feed production capacity from 2 tons per hour to 5 tons per hour, which is expected to generate an additional monthly revenue of N540 million. Mr.

Chris Ogbaisi, the Executive Director of Finance and Strategy, confirmed that the upgraded animal feed mill has commenced operations and is projected to produce 1,200 tons monthly, based on a 12-hour operational cycle across 20 working days. This output translates to approximately 40,000 bags of animal feed per month, priced at N13,500 per bag.

The development is part of the company's medium to long-term value creation roadmap aimed at improving shareholder returns. Additionally, Zichi Agro-Alli Industries PLC has begun clearing a 2,000-acre farm estate to strategically expand its agricultural base for the animal feed business.

This announcement comes amid a six-session losing streak for Zichi shares on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), attributed partly to profit-taking activities.
