Zimbabwe Reveals Squad for Clash with Super Eagles

The Zimbabwe Football Association has announced its squad for the United Cup semi-final match against Nigeria's Super Eagles, scheduled to take place in London later this month. The tournament runs from May 26 to 30 and includes teams from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Jamaica, and India.

Zimbabwe's new head coach, Kaitano Tembo, is expected to provide a strong challenge to the Super Eagles, who are the defending champions of the United Cup. The Super Eagles, coached by Eric Chell, recently drew in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The squad announcement included experienced players from various leagues across Europe and Africa. Notably, Alex Iwobi has been ruled out due to injury.

The Zimbabwean squad features players such as Marlei Tavaziva, Munash Garananga, and Marvelous Nakamba, among others, showcasing a mix of talent from both domestic and international clubs.
