Yobe Governor Vows to Enhance Public Service Through Strategic Appointments

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State reaffirmed his commitment to repositioning the public and civil service through responsive appointments. The Governor appointed a new Grand Khadi, five Special Advisers, 13 Permanent Secretaries, and a Permanent Member of the Yobe State Universal Basic Education Board.

These appointments were made based on qualifications, experience, and integrity to enhance governance and service delivery. Governor Buni charged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to strengthen due process and inject fresh ideas for efficient service delivery.

The government aims to equip and reposition the public service to meet current demands and ensure the speedy implementation of policies and programs.
