1,169 Katsina Apprentices Graduate from Mechatronics Program

On Monday, 1,169 apprentices graduated from the Katsina State Mechatronics Apprenticeship Support Program (MASP), while 331 out of an initial 1,500 enrollees abandoned the training. Governor Dikko Umar Radda addressed the graduates at the ceremony held in People's Square, highlighting the program's success as a testament to the commitment of participants.

The state government, in collaboration with the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) and the Nigerian Automobile Technician Association (NATA), provided various starter packs to the graduates to facilitate their transition into entrepreneurship. Radda noted that the program aims to address common challenges faced by graduates, such as a lack of tools to begin practice.
