Davido Announces New Album 'ORIADE' Set for 2026 Release

Nigerian music star Davido revealed that his new album, titled 'ORIADE', will be released on June 29, 2026. The album will consist of 13 tracks, marking it as his sixth LP and seventh project overall.

Davido shared this announcement via a social media post, where he wore traditional Yoruba attire, capturing the spirit of the album. In an interview with the American media platform Notion, he expressed his delight in representing Nigeria and Africa during the FIFA World Cup.

He is set to perform at the World Cup alongside fellow Nigerian artist Burna Boy and international star Shakira, who will join him on stage for the opening ceremony in Mexico. Davido also mentioned his current musical interests, including country music and hip-hop, specifically referencing Drake's new album.

He reiterated his desire to promote Nigerian and African sounds through his music.
