Davido Launches Sixth Album ‘Ori Ade’ with Listening Party

Davido released his sixth studio album titled ‘Ori Ade’ on July 31, 2023. The title, a Yoruba phrase meaning “head wearing a crown” or “destined royalty,” reflects the album's themes.

Prior to the official release, Davido hosted a listening party in Lagos for selected guests, creating an atmosphere of community and entertainment. The album features a diverse tracklist with songs like "On The Road," "Julie," "Constantly," "Already Falling," "Zanzibar," and "Guide," showcasing Davido's storytelling and versatility.

Notable collaborations include "Amazing Grace" with Black Sherif, "I Know Who I Be" with Jazzwrld and GL Ceejay, "Gimme Dat Ting" featuring No11, "B4 B4" with Mayorkun and FOLA, "Tell Everybody" with Leon Thomas, "Yaya" featuring Aya Nakamura, and "My Light" with Llona. Davido announced a live performance in London at the 02 Forum Kentish Town on August 11, 2023, marking the first opportunity for fans to hear ‘Ori Ade’ performed live.
