Nigerian Presidency Defends 15% Import Duty on Petrol and Diesel

The Nigerian Presidency has stated that the 15% import duty on diesel and petrol is not a burden, with the aim of reshaping the country's energy sector and promoting local refining. The move is intended to increase the price of petrol per liter by an estimated 99.72 kobo.
