16-Year-Old OAU Student Wins 2025 NCDMB Essay Competition on Local Content Policies

Oyinkansola Josephin, a 16-year-old second-year medical student at Obafemi Awolowo University, emerged as the winner of the 2025 NCDMB Undergraduate Essay Competition. The event, held at the Nigerian Content Tower in Yenagoa, aimed to promote understanding of local content policies in the oil and gas sector.

Other top participants included Sonuga Sultan Opeyemi and Aguigwu Preciou Amarachi. The competition, overseen by Felix Ogb, highlighted the NCDMB's efforts to engage stakeholders and support economic growth through local content.

Prof. Barclai Ayakoroma commended the competition's sustainability and encouraged broader participation.
