Barcelona's Pau Cubarsi Praises Osimhen Before Clash
Pau Cubarsi, a centre-back for Barcelona, has hailed Victor Osimhen as one of the best strikers in the world ahead of Barcelona's Champions League group stage match against Galatasaray at Rams Park in Istanbul. Cubarsi recalled a previous encounter with Osimhen when he played for Napoli in 2024, emphasizing the need for Barcelona to be at their sharpest to neutralize the Nigerian forward.
He noted that the home support for Galatasaray would be significant, making the challenge even tougher. Osimhen's confidence has reportedly grown following his return to fitness after over a month due to injury, which is a major boost for Galatasaray as they prepare to face Barcelona.
Ismael Garcia Gomez, the assistant coach of Galatasaray, confirmed Osimhen's full recovery and readiness to play against Barcelona's defense.
