Nigeria's 2026 Tourism Investment Forum Set for July

The 2026 Nigerian Tourism Investment Forum (NTIF), organized by the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), is set to take place on July 30-31, 2026. FTAN President Dr.

Aliyu Badaki stated that the forum aims to connect investors with tourism opportunities throughout Nigeria, complementing federal government efforts to attract investment in the sector. The forum will feature high-profile participants, including diplomats, investors, and state commissioners responsible for tourism.

Keynote addresses will be delivered by Senator Ibrahim Ida and Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and Tourism.

The event will provide a platform for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to explore business opportunities and establish partnerships to advance Nigeria's tourism transformation agenda. Dr.

Badaki also noted the importance of small investments in supporting creative enterprises and stressed the need for collaboration between the private sector and institutions like NIHOTOUR to enhance the tourism value chain.
