Klopp Set to Replace Nagelsmann as Germany Head Coach

Jürgen Klopp is poised to take over as the head coach of the German national football team, replacing Julian Nagelsmann, who was recently dismissed by the German FA after Germany's disappointing exit from the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. This exit marked Germany's third consecutive early elimination from the World Cup, following their group stage exits in both the 2018 and 2022 tournaments.

Klopp, who is currently the sporting director at Red Bull, is reportedly open to considering a return to management. Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano indicated that Klopp is interested in the project, while the German Football Association (DFB) is expected to make a final decision regarding Nagelsmann's successor.

Klopp's potential return to the national team would occur after he leaves Liverpool in the summer of 2024.
