Abia North Stakeholders Back Governor Otti's Re-election Bid

Stakeholders in Abia North convened at the Isieke Civic Centre in Ugwueke, Bende Local Government Area, under the Alliance for Good Governance, to express their support for Governor Alex Otti's governance model. Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa, the secretary and spokesperson of the group, stated that the meeting aimed to ensure the sustainability of good governance in Abia beyond 2031.

The stakeholders emphasized the importance of mobilizing efforts for Otti's second-term bid through grassroots voter education. They urged the community to resist inducements from other parties and to vote for Otti and his candidates.

The meeting included notable figures such as former Minister Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah and Elder Urum Eke, who highlighted the need for capable leadership. Chief Ebueme Ezikpe and Sir Johnson Chukwu described the Alliance for Good Governance as a collective of influential opinion leaders committed to shaping governance in the state, recognizing Otti's achievements in promoting effective governance.
