Abiodun Defends Achievements Ahead of 2027 Elections

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State is undeterred by skepticism regarding his administration as he prepares for the 2027 elections. In a statement by Femi Ogbonnikan, he highlights the importance of constructive criticism over unfounded skepticism that can stall progress and breed mistrust.

Abiodun's administration has achieved notable infrastructural developments, including the construction and rehabilitation of 1,500 kilometers of roads, the establishment of a world-class Ijebu Ode-Epe expressway, and the transformation of the state into a logistics hub with a new international airport project. His administration has also created 25,000 direct and indirect jobs and increased the state's internal revenue generation from 250 billion to 1 trillion annually.

Recently, Abiodun received unanimous endorsement from the APC in Ogun East for the senatorial seat in the 2027 elections, with Chief Muri Awolaja praising his achievements. The governor urges the public to judge his administration based on tangible results rather than negative narratives.
