Accord Alliance Movement Backs Gbenga Hashim for 2027

The Accord Alliance Movement (AAM) has officially reaffirmed its support for Dr. Gbenga Joel Olawepo Hashim as the presidential candidate of the Accord Party for the 2027 general elections.

The announcement was made during the launch of a new political coalition aimed at mobilizing support across Nigeria, held in Abuja. Hon.

Light Adah Adoko, the Director General of AAM, described the event as a defining moment for the group's political activities. He alleged that there are forces within the Accord Party attempting to undermine Hashim's candidacy and the party's internal democratic processes.

The movement believes that Hashim is the sole presidential aspirant deserving of the party's ticket. Adoko expressed a lack of confidence in the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing failures to adequately address insecurity and economic hardships.

The AAM aims to strengthen grassroots participation and build a broad political platform ahead of the elections, reaffirming their commitment to restoring hope, peace, and progress in Nigeria.
