Adebayo's Governance Blueprint for 2027 Election Unveiled

The Movement Adebayo for President (MAP) has called on Nigerians to evaluate presidential candidates ahead of the 2027 general election, presenting Adewole Adebayo, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), as a viable alternative. MAP released a statement titled “Choosing Between President Tinubu and Citizen Adebayo: A Social Democratic Manifesto That Signposts National Redemption,” which outlines Adebayo’s manifesto, "Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity." This manifesto focuses on poverty reduction, national security, and economic development, detailing a comprehensive agenda across 12 priority areas including national security, food security, and education.

MAP criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reportedly opting out of direct engagement in the APC’s presidential campaign tour, urging candidates to connect with voters. The group emphasized the need for APC leaders to prioritize national interests amid economic and security challenges.

Adebayo's proposed first 100 days in office would include establishing mechanisms for monitoring government performance and addressing key sectors.
