Adebayo Calls for Nigerians to Vote Out Tinubu in 2027

Adewole Adebayo, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), called on Nigerians to vote out President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Adebayo criticized the current administration for the hardship, poverty, and insecurity faced by citizens, asserting that Nigerians cannot endure another four years under the APC government.

He dismissed claims of Tinubu and the APC being unbeatable, emphasizing that the power to influence election outcomes lies with the voters. Adebayo encouraged citizens to unite and prioritize their interests over inducements, predicting a significant defeat for the APC if they do so.

He expressed his vision for Nigeria, promising substantial investment in agriculture, asserting that Nigeria has the potential to feed itself and become a major food supplier across Africa within three years, highlighting the lack of investment in the agricultural sector.
