Akpabio Urges Akwa Ibom to Back Tinubu and Eno for 2027

During the 39th anniversary of Akwa Ibom State, Senate President Godswill Akpabio called for support from the people of Akwa Ibom for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Akpabio, a former governor of the state, emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership for the state's development and political stability.

He praised Governor Eno for his commitment to peace, rural development, and economic advancement under the ARISE Agenda. Akpabio defended the economic reforms of the Tinubu administration, asserting that they are essential for long-term economic stabilization and infrastructure development.

He also advocated for stronger cooperation between Akwa Ibom and Cross River State, highlighting their historical ties. The anniversary activities included plans to commission 39 projects across the state, aligning the celebration with the administration's development agenda.
