Amina Ibrahim Declares Candidacy for FCT Senate Seat

Dr. Amina Ibrahim, an aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced her candidacy for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections during a media briefing in Abuja on Saturday.

She expressed her commitment to providing purpose-driven representation for the residents of FCT, particularly focusing on socio-economic challenges faced by communities, especially in satellite areas. Dr.

Ibrahim identified key issues such as rising living costs, unemployment, transportation difficulties, inadequate housing, insecurity, and poor infrastructure. She emphasized her experience in business, community leadership, and women's empowerment, outlining her priorities which include economic empowerment, affordable living, youth development, and support for small and medium enterprises.

Dr. Ibrahim reaffirmed her loyalty to the APC and expressed support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

She called on party members, women, youth, and traditional institutions in FCT to support her candidacy, promoting her campaign slogan, "People, People," which reflects her commitment to inclusive and results-driven leadership.
