APC Confident of Victory in Ekiti Governorship Election

On Thursday in Abuja, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that the party possesses the numbers and strength to win any election, particularly the upcoming Ekiti State governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2027.

During the inauguration of the APC National Campaign Council for the Ekiti governorship election, Yilwatda praised the achievements of the incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who is seeking re-election for a second term. He emphasized the party's growing strength and nationwide support base, claiming that no political party in Nigeria can match the current caliber of individuals within the APC.

Yilwatda also dismissed concerns regarding campaign funding, stating that the party is capable of mobilizing grassroots support effectively. Uba Sani, the Chairman of the campaign council from Kaduna State, described the council's mission as ambitious, focusing on engaging young people and women to ensure effective grassroots mobilization ahead of the elections.
