APC Sets ₦10 Million Chairmanship Form Fee for 2027 Elections, Excludes Some States

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the chairmanship form for the 2027 general elections will cost ₦10 million. Ekiti, Osun, Rivers, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been excluded from the congresses.

Aspirants vying for national positions such as national chairman, deputy national chairmen, and national secretary are required to pay ₦10 million, ₦7.5 million, and ₦7.5 million respectively. Female aspirants, youth, and persons with disabilities are expected to pay half the cost of the form.

The APC further detailed the structure of the congresses, with state and senatorial executive congresses to be held concurrently. Ekiti, Osun, Rivers, and FCT will not participate in the state congresses, but they will elect three delegates each to the party's national convention.

Payments for the forms are to be made directly to a designated bank account.
