Kenneth Okonkwo Accuses APC of Luring Peter Obi with NDC
Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) formed the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to lure Peter Obi, the ADC's presidential candidate. In an interview on TVC News, Okonkwo claimed that the NDC was a contraption created by the APC to attract Obi, who he described as someone who "likes free things." He expressed suspicion towards members of the NDC, stating that they are likely surrogates of the APC, as there was no valid reason for any of them to leave the ADC at the closing time of nominations.
Okonkwo emphasized that the timing of the defections raised questions about the motivations of those who joined the NDC.
