Ayo Aris Seeks Ekiti North Senate Nomination for 2026

Ayo Aris, a former Senate committee chairman, has officially picked up nomination and expression of interest forms for the Ekiti North senatorial district as he prepares for the APC primaries set for May 22, 2026. Speaking to newsmen shortly after obtaining the forms in Abuja, Aris expressed confidence in his victory at the polls.

He has visited 56 wards within the Ekiti North senatorial district to garner support from APC leaders. Aris pledged to consolidate his performance in the Senate from 2007 to 2011 and aims to mobilize 7,000 APC members for his campaign.

He emphasized his dedication to selfless service and alleviating the suffering of the people, stating that he is not motivated by money or fame but by a desire to represent the people effectively. He called on the people of Ekiti North to send capable representatives to complement the efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in developing the state.
