APC Declares Atiku Abubakar Unfit for Presidency

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), as unfit for the presidency, referring to him as an "accidental Vice President." APC's national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, issued this statement in Abuja, emphasizing that Atiku's past is marred by allegations of corruption and bribery. The party highlighted various scandals linked to Atiku, including the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project, the Siemens bribery scandal, and the PTDF funds controversy.

APC claims that these allegations are well-documented in official records and investigations, raising serious questions about Atiku's integrity. Specifically, they referenced a $500,000 payment made to Atiku's then-wife, Jennifer Douglas, during the Mambilla contract award period, and the Siemens scandal involving $4.5 million in bribes.

APC urged Nigerians to reject Atiku's bid for the presidency in the upcoming election to protect the nation's treasury from his alleged corrupt practices.
