Shettima Calls for Renewed Support for Tinubu in 2027

During an All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, Vice President Kashim Shettima appealed to the public to renew President Bola Tinubu's mandate in the upcoming 2027 general election. He stated that those in public office must be accountable to the people and present trustworthy plans.

Shettima urged residents to support not only Tinubu's re-election but also Governor Bassey Otu's bid for re-election and APC candidates for the National Assembly and Cross River State House of Assembly. He described the APC as a reliable political partner and acknowledged the support from Cross River residents over the past three years, despite facing lies and propaganda against the party.

Shettima conveyed Tinubu's greetings and emphasized that the relationship between the APC and the people is built on progress and dignity. He reiterated the importance of the people's authority in political matters and called for a unified vote for APC candidates.
