Former Labour Party President and presidential candidate Peter Obi has reiterated his plan to run for the Nigerian presidency in 2027, dismissing insults from political opponents. Obi emphasized his commitment to serving the nation and addressing economic and security issues during an interaction session at Nigerian X Space.

He highlighted his background in business management as essential for managing the country's finances effectively. Obi stressed the importance of economic reforms in tackling security challenges, poverty, and unemployment.

Additionally, he clarified that he is not seeking a vice-presidential role within the African Democrat Congress Coalition and remains focused on his presidential candidacy in 2027.
