City Boy Movement Sets Goal for 10 Million Votes for Tinubu

The City Boy Movement (CBM) inaugurated its Ekiti State executive council in Ado-Ekiti, with Director-General Francis Oluwatosin Shoga announcing a target of 10 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Shoga stated that this ambitious goal is achievable through grassroots mobilization and the active involvement of young Nigerians.

He emphasized the importance of building a network of 10 million active members with Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) across Nigeria. The movement is already establishing structures in all 36 states, with a focus on engaging young people and encouraging them to participate in the electoral process.

Oluwafemi Kasali, the state director, noted that the organization is targeting undecided voters and those previously disinterested in elections, with structures set up across local government areas and polling units in Ekiti State. The movement aims to engage various community groups to foster greater electoral participation in support of President Tinubu.
