City Boi Movement Inaugurates Women’s Excos in Enugu

On Wednesday, the City Boi Movement (CBM) inaugurated its women’s executive committee in Enugu State, with the goal of enhancing grassroots mobilization for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and supporting the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. The event took place at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu.

Amaka Nweke was appointed as the state women's leader, tasked with empowering women and driving community development initiatives. During the inauguration, Nweke emphasized the importance of education in understanding governance and encouraged women to engage actively in political processes.

The event also featured contributions from notable figures, including Oba Ishaka Salman, who urged women to advocate against discrimination among ethnic groups, and Chief Ayanfemi Joshua, who supported the movement's objectives. The CBM aims to create awareness and policies that uplift marginalized communities and foster unity within the ranks of women leaders.
