Abia APC Criticizes Otti's Alleged Support for Tinubu

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) issued a statement on Monday dismissing Governor Otti's alleged support for President Tinubu's re-election as a desperate political tactic. The APC claimed that Otti's chances of securing a second term are below 30 percent and that he is not boldly identifying with Tinubu.

The statement, attributed to the party's public secretary, Uch Aguoru, described Otti's sudden declaration of support as a deceptive tactic aimed at political survival. The APC further asserted its confidence in its ability to deliver 90 percent of the votes for Tinubu in Abia, urging the president to disregard what they termed misleading overtures from Otti.

The comments reflect the APC's view of the political landscape in Abia State and the challenges facing the governor as he navigates his re-election campaign.
