Donald Duke, the presidential candidate for the People's Redemption Party (PRP), is attracting significant international media attention ahead of Nigeria's 2027 general election. An Indonesian publication, Global Hukum Indonesia, has spotlighted his candidacy, describing him as one of Nigeria's promising presidential contenders over the past two decades.

The publication emphasizes Duke's proposals on economic reform, education, technology, and Artificial Intelligence, noting that he is gaining interest from political and economic observers globally as the January 16, 2027 election approaches. Duke, who served as the governor of Cross River State from 1999 to 2007, is committed to implementing structural reforms to combat corruption and restore investor confidence.

His campaign also includes a focus on modernizing Nigeria's education system and deploying AI tools in governance to enhance public services and transparency. Duke is one of 18 candidates listed by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the upcoming election.
