Ex-Governorship Candidate Joins ADC Ahead of 2027 Elections in Kogi State

Olayinka Braimoh, a former governorship candidate, has officially defected from the Action Alliance (AA) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in preparation for the 2027 elections. Braimoh made the announcement during a ceremony held in Kabba, Kogi State, where he expressed confidence in the ADC's ability to bring meaningful change to the state.

Kingsley Temitope Ogga, the chairman of ADC in Kogi State, welcomed Braimoh's defection, emphasizing the party's readiness to contest and win upcoming elections. This move follows Governor Douye Diri's departure from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, marking a significant shift in Nigeria's political landscape.
