Yari Advocates Collective Efforts for 2027 Election Integrity

On Tuesday, at the 8th edition of the Blueprint Newspapers Public Lecture, Impact Series and Award Ceremony held at the Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, the former Governor of Zamfara State and current Senator representing Zamfara West, called for collective efforts to tackle Nigeria's security challenges and ensure a credible 2027 general election. Yari commended Blueprint Newspapers for organizing the event, highlighting the importance of security as a shared responsibility among all Nigerians, not just the President and security agencies.

He expressed optimism that the integrity of the 2027 election would be among the best, urging political actors, government institutions, and citizens to commit to a credible electoral process. The event was attended by notable figures, including the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, among other dignitaries.
