APM's Adeoye Proposes Servant-Leadership for Lagos 2027

Prince Adelaja Adeoye, the governorship candidate for Lagos under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), announced his Atunto Eko agenda, a seven-point policy program aimed at fostering accountable governance. He stated that Lagos requires a servant-leader rather than a ruler, emphasizing leadership that listens and delivers.

The agenda addresses critical areas including housing, where Adeoye plans to construct 50,000 affordable rent-to-own homes across various Lagos locations, tackling a deficit of over three million housing units. For poverty alleviation, he proposed a N10 billion revolving micro-credit fund named Ekoowo for small businesses.

Job creation initiatives include establishing industrial clusters in different regions to generate 100,000 direct jobs within two years. Adeoye also committed to upgrading healthcare facilities, reforming waste management, and enhancing education infrastructure.

He endorsed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as APM's presidential candidate, citing his effective governance in Oyo as a model for Nigeria.
