Laja Adeoye Launches 2027 Lagos Governorship Campaign

Prince Laja Adeoye, the governorship candidate for the African People's Movement (APM), officially launched his campaign for the Lagos State governorship election scheduled for February 6, 2027. The campaign, branded 'Atunto Eko 1.0', commenced on Wednesday, September 9, as confirmed by the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organisation (LACO) through a statement signed by spokesman Ayodele Kazeem.

LACO described the launch as the beginning of a new phase aimed at providing Lagosians with a credible and progressive alternative. The campaign will cover all areas of Lagos, including Lagos Island, Epe, Alimosho, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Mainland, Agege, and Ibeju-Lekki.

Key policy areas include healthcare, housing, transportation, security, employment, infrastructure, flooding, waste management, and support for vulnerable residents. LACO emphasized a focus on issues and solutions rather than "empty promises" and called for peaceful campaigning within legal provisions.

Adeoye is the first candidate registered on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal for the upcoming election.
