PDP Chieftain Urges Nigerians to End APC Rule in 2027 Elections

Dickson Iroegbu, a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Obidi Movement, urges Nigerians to take decisive political action against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections. In a statement on Friday, Iroegbu warned of grave consequences if APC remains in power, alleging that the party poses a serious threat to Nigeria and its citizens.

He criticized APC for lacking a clear agenda for the welfare of Nigerians, accusing the party of focusing on consolidating elite interests at the expense of the general population. Iroegbu emphasized that the 2027 elections could be a turning point for Nigeria, urging the populace to push back against political elites whom he accuses of driving millions into poverty.

He referenced the situation in Kano State, highlighting the prevalence of extreme poverty and calling for a unified effort against a common enemy. Iroegbu invoked the late former President Muhammadu Buhari's stance on corruption, stating that if APC is not ended in 2027, it may lead to dire consequences for Nigeria and its people.
