MYFOSKA Urges Fairness in Southern Kaduna Votes for 2027

The Muslim Youth Foundation of Southern Kaduna (MYFOSKA) has issued a warning to political parties regarding the importance of not taking the votes of Southern Kaduna Muslims for granted in the upcoming 2027 Kaduna governorship election. In a statement signed by National Chairman Dr.

Kabir Muhammed, the group emphasized that electoral support must be earned through fairness, inclusion, and meaningful engagement. This caution follows the selection of Christian deputy governorship candidates by the three major political parties.

MYFOSKA highlighted that while the current Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, represents geographical interests, there is a pressing need for religious inclusion in political leadership.

The group noted that Southern Kaduna Muslims are a significant demographic contributing to the state's development and urged political parties to engage equitably with all religious and ethnic groups to foster sustainable peace and democratic stability.
