NIMASA Focuses on Youth for Blue Economy Growth

He highlighted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Blue Economy Agenda as crucial for economic diversification and noted that the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, has tasked NIMASA with equipping young Nigerians with necessary skills and opportunities.
Key initiatives mentioned include the Nigerian Seafarers Development Programme (NSDP), the Blue Economy Accelerator Initiative, skills acquisition centres across the six geopolitical zones, and the establishment of Institute of Maritime Studies in select Nigerian universities. Additionally, NIMASA engaged students from the University of Lagos in a knowledge-sharing session led by Ms.
