INEC Confirms Dr. Nafi’u Sankara as PDP Candidate

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially confirmed Dr. Nafi’u Sankara as the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) representing the Kano Central Senatorial District in the upcoming elections. This confirmation was made through the publication of the final list of candidates by INEC, which has resolved any uncertainties regarding the PDP's choice for this district.

In response to this announcement, the PDP's Kano state chapter expressed its support for Sankara and called on party members and supporters in Kano Central to maintain unity and focus on the campaign efforts. Ahmad Dauda Lawal, the publicity secretary of the PDP, urged members and the public to disregard any conflicting information about Sankara's candidacy.

The party remains optimistic that collective effort and dedication will enhance its chances of winning and delivering effective representation for the people of Kano Central.
