2027 Elections: “Nigerians Have Rejected Your Party,” APC Fires Back at PDP Governors

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to claims by governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the ruling party is facing defeat in the 2027 elections. In a statement issued by Felix Morka, the APC's publicity secretary, he dismissed the PDP governors' projections as an attempt to mislead Nigerians, stating that the PDP is heading towards a doomed fate.

Morka highlighted that the APC has a vision and direction, unlike the PDP, and that the recent victory in a show of support for President Bola Tinubu's policies proves that the party is resonating with Nigerians. He also called on PDP governors to accept that Nigerians have rejected their party.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has announced his intention to run for the presidency in 2027, potentially challenging President Bola Ahmed under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition platform.
