APM Denies Vandalism Claims by APC in Oyo State

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Presidential/Governorship Apex Campaign Council in Oyo State issued a statement denying any intentions to vandalize billboards and posters belonging to All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Senator Sarafadeen Alli. The APM described the allegations from the APC campaign organization as reckless and a deliberate falsehood aimed at provoking fear and distracting from real issues in Oyo State.

APM asserted its reputation for peaceful political mobilization and adherence to democratic norms, stating, “We do not destroy opponents’ materials, we do not sponsor thuggery, and we do not engage in violence.” The statement further criticized the APC for its history of political violence and intimidation, urging the APC campaign to refrain from spreading inflammatory claims. APM reaffirmed its commitment to a campaign based on integrity, stability, and respect for all candidates, emphasizing the need for a mature political atmosphere in Oyo State.
