The Oyo State Allied Peoples Movement Presidential/Governorship Apex Campaign Council issued a statement addressing allegations from the Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation, which claimed that "APM/PMS elements" intended to vandalize Senator Alli's billboards and posters. The APM's Media and Publicity Committee categorically rejected these allegations, labeling them as a deliberate falsehood designed to provoke fear and distract from pressing issues in Oyo State.

The APM emphasized its commitment to peaceful political engagement and adherence to democratic norms, stating that it does not engage in violence or thuggery. The party criticized the history of political violence associated with the APC and urged the Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation to refrain from spreading misleading claims that could incite tension.
