2027: Enugu Progressives woo Gov Mbah into APC

Enugu Progressives are actively courting Governor Peter Mbah to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general election. The Progressive Group, led by former APC state Chairman Ben Nwoye, expressed their willingness to welcome Governor Mbah if he decides to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and join the ruling party.

Nwoye dismissed claims that Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Ugocukwu Agballa, or Chief Uche Nnaji could prevent Governor Mbah from joining the APC. The group emphasized that they are open to welcoming any apolitical individual committed to the betterment of Enugu State and the country.
