Enugu APC Woos Gov Mbah

The Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed its willingness to welcome Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State if he decides to join the party from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The former chairman of the APC in the state, Dr.

Ben Nwoye, made this statement during a meeting with the Progressive Group stakeholders in Enugu. Nwoye dismissed claims that the suspended state chairman, Ugo Agbala, or the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Uche Nnaji, could block Governor Mbah's entry into the APC.

The Progressive Group emphasized its commitment to the betterment of Enugu State and stated that they would support Governor Mbah's bid for the presidency in 2027, in line with President Bola Tinubu's directive. Nwoye also commended President Tinubu for signing a law establishing the Federal University of Agriculture in Enugu State and appointing an indigene as Chief.
