Fayose Bets N10m on Tinubu's 2027 Vote Failure

Isaac Fayose has publicly asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not secure 20% of the votes in the South-East region during the upcoming 2027 general elections. To back his claim, Fayose has offered to wager N10 million to anyone who can firmly argue otherwise.

His statement was made in a Facebook post following a recent event organized by the Citi Boi Movement in Owerri, which aimed to mobilize support for Tinubu. However, the event reportedly drew criticism on social media for its low turnout, despite the presence of notable figures, including popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest.

Fayose described the gathering as unimpressive and insisted that Tinubu is struggling to gain significant electoral support in the South-East. He emphasized that he is ready to bet the N10 million, stating that unless the electoral process is manipulated, Tinubu will not achieve the 20% vote threshold in the region during the 2027 elections.
