Governor Sule Warns Against Premature Campaigning for 2027 Elections

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule cautioned aspiring political candidates against early campaigning for the 2027 elections, urging them to wait for the legally appointed time. Governor Sule warned that premature campaigning could unnecessarily heat up the political atmosphere, as the election is two years away.

He emphasized the need to adhere to the electoral regulations set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and avoid jumping the gun in the campaign process. The Governor highlighted the emerging security threats in the state due to social media wars among loyalists of different politicians and assured that the state government is taking measures, including deploying modern technology and empowering security agencies, to address these challenges.
