Yayi Progress Movement Donates 1bn Naira for Tinubu's Campaign

The Yayi Progress Movement (YPM) has made a significant contribution to Bola Ahmed Tinubu's presidential re-election campaign by donating 1 billion naira and 27 brand new buses. This announcement was made during the official inauguration of the group in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The event was attended by key political figures, including Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, who emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The group aims to penetrate all 236 wards in Ogun State, with the goal of delivering the highest number of votes in the South West region for Tinubu's re-election bid.

Adeola, representing the Ogun State Senate, expressed confidence in the APC candidates and commended the leadership of the current governor, Dapo Abiodun, for his commitment to infrastructure development and peace in the state. The event also featured dignitaries such as former Ogun State Deputy Governor Adegbenga Kaka and other notable political figures.
